Golf League Tracker Product Roadmap
To keep my customers up to date on what may be coming up for Golf League Tracker, I've created this product roadmap for Golf League Tracker. I don't yet have a timeline associated with any of these items, and they may not all be implemented, but this is what is currently on the docket.
This doesn't include any bug fixes which take priority over site enhancements. As always, if you have any suggestions for the site, please e-mail me!
Completed Roadmap Items
Editable settings You can now edit just about every setting for your league!
This has been partially implemented by allowing a "grouping" for your teams by some sort of identifier.
The limitation is that the scheduler will not automatically schedule within a group at this point in time.
Better Split Tee Time Handling While you still need to set split tee times by having 2 "rounds" for each
side (so for example, Round #1 and #2 are played on the same days), the league standings will combine those two rounds
into one standings sheet.
iOS app.... maybe. Apple locks down their approval a lot, and since the Golf League Tracker app would have to
access external data, this is a different level of subscription which is required from Apple... we'll see. With HTML5 and Jquery
becoming more robust, the mobile website is very powerful these days.
Scheduling for intradivisonal play so that when a schedule is created, you can choose to schedule within the division
or outside the division. I don't anticipate this until next season since this is a major change as to how divisions are
Continued migration to the new platform. For you techies, Golf League Tracker was originally written in Classic ASP, and
I'm now converting pages into MVC.Net. What does this mean for you? A better user experience, and the ability for
me to implement changes more quickly.
