For most leagues, the main League Standings report is your go-to report for the week if your league plays for season-long points. It shows all the scores hole by hole for the week, with scores color coded by type (par, birdie, eagle, etc), ordered in Points order. If you play skins, it will give you details on the winners and payouts (along with your NET Skin's rules if you play Net skins). You can also display a summary of the future schedule, and any comments you want to give to your users. You can different sort options, and display options.
By default, all players/teams are displayed in the league standings. If someone drops out of the league and no longer are considered in the running, you can hide them from the standings by going to Step 6 - Assign Players (or Teams) in your League Setup, choosing the round in which you want the change to begin, and check or uncheck the "Show in Standings" checkbox.
For the league administrator, you can customize some default views for the League Standings, so that your players don't have to change some of the options when they view the report. For example, if your league is broken into two or more League Groups, typically you'd want to sort your standings first by group, then within each group.
To see what options are available for the League Standings, go into your League Settings:
Administration -> League Setup -> League Settings -> Change League Settings
and choose "Standings" from the "Setting Category" drop down. All the current settings will be displayed to you.
Your league can be broken into as many as 4 segments, so there are two columns of points which can be displayed, one for each. Segment Points automatically reset at the start of each segment
When looking at your League Standings, by default the GROSS SCORE will be displayed. A GROSS SCORE is the actual score the player made on the hole, and that you entered when entering scores. From the "SCORE TYPES" dropdown, you can choose different options, depending on your league setup:
NET SCORES
When you choose NET SCORES, the net score of each player is displayed on each hole. This displays the net score using the player's full handicap, which isn't necessarily how your league might be set up. For example, in Match Play, strokes are given based on the difference in handicaps of the two players. To see that see the Detailed Points Scoresheet report.
GROSS SKINS PLAYERS
If your league plays GROSS SKINS, you can choose this option to only display the players who are entered into the GROSS SKINS game, along with their GROSS SCORES.
NET SKINS PLAYERS
If your league plays NET SKINS, you can choose this option to only display the players who are entered into the NET SKINS game, along with their NET SCORES. Below the scoring you will see the SKINS LEGEND & RULES section, which gives you a summary of your league configuration for net skins. This is handy when you can't figure out why one player won a skin and another didn't, or vice versa.
Several other options are contained in the green action bar located above the league standings. Feel free to play around with those options to customize the display how you like, for what works best for you.
