Hello fellow Golf League Trackers! Rumors of my death were greatly exaggerated (but not by much).
Catch-Up
As I'm sure you all know with the messages that I posted in your Admin screen, I've been going through some health issues, had surgery with some complications, spent a month in the ICU (that was fun), missed the US Open (but got to see the British Open at least), but I am now home and recovering. and support is now back up and available. I thank you for your patience in throughout all of this. I'm hoping the dozens of help documents and videos helps you wind your way through any questions that you may have had.
What the Hell Happened?
The end of May my wife and I were both sick with some respiratory virus, but on the mend. The week of June 5th I still wasn't feeling great, and on the 6th I could tell something wasn't quite right. I went to the urgent care down the road, and they immediately made me go to the ER with low blood O2 (it was around 85-86). ER checked me in and I spent a week undergoing tests. Turned out I had a torn P2 mitral valve (that's a heart thing for those who are as unversed in this as I was).
It was a complete shock. I'm 57 y.o., in good shape, great blood pressure and resting heart rate, and I walk 15-20 miles a week on a hilly course with no problem. Never even thought of a heart problem! Went in for surgery on June 16th, and all hell broke loose. Major complications, and I ended up being intubated for 7-8 days. "Routine" surgery ended up not being very routine. After the tube came out, I barely could move. Muscles atrophied, which is now my major recovery. I was in the cardiac ICU for a little more than 30 days.
Thankfully I have a great support system and am now on the road to recovery
Moving Forward
While the e-mail functionality form to tech support was disabled, the e-mail address was still functional, with an out of office message. However, any messages sent before today cannot be answered, so if you still have questions about something, please e-mail me through the support form here.
Support Availability
For the near future, I will check e-mail a few times a day and answer your questions. I can't guarantee 5-minute return times like I did so often before, as recovery prevents me from sitting in front of my computer all day long, but same day responses shouldn't be a problem.
Thank You For Your Support
I'm honored to get so many e-mails from my customers wishing me the best. It was incredibly motivating to see the personal connection, even though I just provide golf software, and have only met a couple of you over the years. I thank you for your continued support!
